What Causes Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

This nerve that gets trapped in the wrist is normally due to an increase of pressure in the wrist which can occur for many different reasons. One of the most common reasons is due to a dysfunction within the muscles and joints of not only your wrist but your elbow, shoulder and neck too. Your wrist doesn’t work alone but in concert with the parts attached to it. Therefore an issue in your wrist may not be directly caused by your wrists but the neighbouring structures instead.
